At her White Hall business, Mountain State Nutrition (formerly Nutrition for Life 2), she works with men, women and children of all ages. She helps people who have blood pressure problems, or diabetes, and those who want to lose weight
or become healthy.
Mountain State Nutrition is located along U.S. Route 250 South past Walmart at 2919 White Hall Blvd. Customers can find the between Bella and Lion in the Sun in the plaza beside Fabric and Foam Sales.

“I’ve always been into nutrition and fitness, and it’s just been an interest of mine,” she said.

consultant before taking on the operations of Nutrition for Life 2.
When clients visit the , Parrish reviews their weight and health issues and provides a menu for them to follow weekly. Each person is on a customized plan, and they return every week to be weighed, measured and get a new menu. Their menu includes essentials like lean meats, fruits and vegetables, and they don’t have to eat foods they don’t like.
“I like just helping people to feel better about themselves, and then of course the one-on-one, getting to know people.”
Local doctors often refer their patients to Mountain State Nutrition, and people are also welcome to call on their own and schedule an appointment.
Parrish helps clients who live in Marion County and outside the area. Her secretary, Janet Frazier, helps keep the running smoothly.
